Suzanne Natbony, Esq. (Of Counsel)

Suzanne Natbony is Of Counsel at the Michael H. Cohen Law Group and practices healthcare, business and entertainment law. Her transactional, regulatory and compliance work spans multiple business sectors, in which she advises clients (including physicians, allied health professionals, other health care practitioners, entertainment talent, architects, business executives, and other professionals) on regulatory and compliance matters, including acquisitions and advice with respect to their intellectual property rights. She has also participated in policy-based legal work including drafting proposed federal statutes.

Ms. Natbony serves as Associate Counsel and Director of the Pacific Region for New World Home LLC, a home builder of green, LEED-Certifiable homes, in which position she performs a wide range of in-house legal work, leads strategic planning sessions, and spearheads implementation. Previously, Ms. Natbony worked in the corporate legal department of March Vision Care LLC, a California health plan; garnered an externship with the Federal Judicial Center in Washington D.C.; and was a legal intern at Katten Muchin Rosenman.

Ms. Natbony graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California. She was Vice President of the Pre-Law Society, Chairperson of the Professional Development Committee of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, a member of Alpha Phi sorority and she studied abroad at Cambridge University in England.

She received her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law where she focused on Healthcare Law. During law school, Ms. Natbony completed legal course work as a Visiting Student at Pepperdine and Georgetown, as a Special Student at Loyola, through an international study abroad program at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. She was President of the Southwestern Law and Medicine Society, Co-Vice President of the Loyola Health Law and Bioethics Association, and Sports Chair of the Loyola Entertainment and Sports Law Society.

In her free time, Ms. Natbony enjoys playing sports (tennis, golf and skiing), making art (painting, sculpting and jewelry), volunteering, and attending conferences, seminars and networking events.

Ms. Natbony is a member of the California Bar. She also is a member of the Doctor-Lawyer Dinner Planning Committee for the Women's Lawyer Association of Los Angeles, the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, the United States Green Building Council and former member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Society of Law Medicine and Ethics and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
